Team Changes

As of September 1st, Parkour Earth will reluctantly accept the resignation of our CEO Damien Puddle, and welcome him to his new role as the Research Lead at Parkour Earth.

Due to some joyful personal news (another baby!), Damien has requested to scale back his work with Parkour Earth and is moving from the CEO role into a role that suits his schedule and interests. Damien will take up the voluntary role of ‘Research Lead’.

As the Research Lead, Damien will take charge of the development of resources for the common good within Parkour Earth. With an aim to curate and develop a treasure trove of information that could help parkour communities all over the world.

The Board has also accepted the resignation of Mikkel Rugaard as Independent Director and has appointed him to the position of Interim CEO, with an aim to run a recruitment process for a new CEO beginning in early 2024.

Mikkel is looking forward to taking on the interim role and guiding the organisation forward (albeit temporarily). During this period, he’d like to focus on activating the organisation and making the members feel more capable of contributing and helping everyone connected to the organisation to further their goals, whatever that may be.
